Nicely flamed curly maple back, ribs and neck, selected aged hand
-carved spruce top. Richly shaded golden brown spirit varnish. Ebony/maple purfling, rosewood Hill trim. Milo Stamm Standart bridge. Two black adjusters, Thomastik Dominant strings. Jan Fronk was born on 16th March, 1964 in Brno. His studies of playing string musical instruments woke up his interest in building violins and brought him after finishing the basic school to violin school in Luby which he successfully finished in 1982 under the leadership of Karel Caba. In 1991 he graduated from master violin school in Luby under the leadership of master luthiers Alois Sibal and Josef Dvorak. Since 1992 he has been constructing concert and master instruments under his name for world
-known company Akord Kvint, Ltd. In this company he sharpened his skills under the leadership of master luthiers Josef Dvorak and Josef Holpuch. Nowadays he cooperates in his professional development with luthiers Jan Poetzl, Michael van Berkum and Eduard Schwen.
